Battle of us-33
I tuned in to tonight’s battle between rivals Groveport and Canal Winchester. Canal coming off a recent loss to Big Walnut after being on pause for 2 1/2 weeks while Groveport was coming off a loss to Hilliard Bradley on Tuesday. This was a game totally dominated by the Indians. The Indians jumped out early on the Lady Cruisers and never looked back. Was impressed by the post play of Groveport despite the loss and they were able to get inside for easy baskets. The story of the game was the outside shooting of the Indians they had wide open looks. They had great scoring from not only leading scorer Kierstyn Liming but also Rory Chapman who was blistering from 3-point land. They were able to limit Casey Humphrey and the other guards for the most part from the Lady Cruisers. Canal won to go on to win 69-45. With the win, the Indians improved to 4-6 while the lady crusiers dropped to 2-11 on the season.
